My 4 top Affiliate Marketing Tips

Affiliate Marketing can sometimes be a struggle for a lot of people and these are the rules that I see them disobeying the most.  You have to live within your means all the time and this includes within affiliate marketing.  You can do all the reading that you want – and you should read different topics each day to learn, but that should only be a portion of your work.  The most important work lies within you to take the initiative.

So today I present you with the best tips that I can give anyone just starting out, and hoping to quit their day job, earn an extra income or whatever else your goals may be:

1. Start small.

  • As I’ve discussed several times some of the most easy and profitable campaigns only pay out $1.20 per lead.  For example the email submits I’ve told you to promote on Facebook.  You spend a lot less time and money testing these campaigns to make them profitable.

2. Sell relevant, needed products or services.

  • There’s always a new fad going on, or a certain time of the year.  Make sure you keep up to date with the most needed things around.  Another thing to pay attention to is holidays or special events.  Oh, and watch what Oprah talks about..because it all seems to turn to gold.

3. Over-deliver with your content.

  • If your going to write a review style page, make sure it’s the best damn review they’ve ever seen.  You want to give them everything you can about the product to really make them have to buy it.  Your goal is to get that buyer to buy it from you and that browser to buy on an impulse

4. Test and Tweak.

  • This is 100% a numbers game.  You have to be constantly working on new ideas in your head, however most people never bring them to fruition.  If you have an idea – that has even a remote chance of working in your mind then TEST it.  The people that just sit around on their heels and wait for someone to give them an idea to promote that is already working will never make any money.  You have to be very proactive.
