Calling all bowlers, regardless of how bad you may be. Anyone thats in the greater Orlando area should attend this event. The Charity Bowl-A-Thon that will benefit the Niemann-Pick Children’s Fund in honor of Brisan and Parker Stults. It looks like it will be a really fun event for a great cause, assuming that my class schedule permits I will most definitely be going. This blog will also be sponsoring one of the lanes, so if your there make sure to look for our banner!
I’m also looking for some people to sponsor my bowling! I’m paying the $25 entry fee obviously but they have a sponsor a player option. Basically when you sponsor a player you pay 10 cents per each pin that player knocks down throughout the night. So in an effort to raise even more money for this charity I will be actively looking for sponsorships on my bowling. I’m going to get a sponsor shirt made so if there is anything that you want to put on it then make sure you sponsor me and I’ll be wearing that throughout the event! My family wants to personally thank you for speaking about this event on your blog and even more so that your going to take time out of your busy life to help make an impact for a family and cause that is so dear to our hearts for Brisan and Parker!
It is amazing how there are over 7k rare diseases in the world but only 200 have a “cure or treatment” for them. What is more astonishing is the fact that Niemann Pick Type C Disease is so closely related to Adult Onset Alzheimer’s, Stroke, and Atherosclerosis that helping open doors for my children’s disease will be able one day to impact several million people in the years to come.
If we can help support one more grant to be granted to researchers or buy Brisan and Parker some more time until something comes along we would have done one of the most single handed kind acts to all of fellow mankind…showing love for one another.
