It’s hard to find someone within this industry that doesn’t like to work as much as humanly possible. I mean, why wouldn’t they? The more you work, the more campaigns you can get running — the more stuff you can do! The more stuff you can do, the more money you can potentially make. It really all goes hand in hand. The internet marketing business is certainly not for the faint of hard — nor is it for people who like to take a lot of vacations and not work as much as they can, ALL the time…

This does bring me to a valid and important point however. The most important thing you can do if you are an internet marketer is to make sure that you have at least some time, each and every week, to attend to both yourself and your friends and family. If you don’t, it can often mean that you’ll eventually get burnt out or worse yet — feel like you’re going insane! Never a good thing!

Now don’t get me wrong — I’m not saying that working as much as possible is a bad thing. Certainly not! What I am trying to say is that despite how much you work, even if you work an incredible amount of hours each week, you need to make sure that you have time to set aside for yourself.

If you don’t, than you may be risking a lot more than some time spent creating a new, potentially profitable, campaign.

Most of us work from home, so it’s easy for the line to be blurred between work and play. I know firsthand that many people have found it hard to take breaks when they work from home because they find it hard to tell themself that there is no need to be working. It’s basically like people who work in a cubicle, living in that very same cubicle! Don’t you think it would be obvious that the line between work and personal time would be blurred in that situation?

Exactly!

So again, I’m not saying that you should begin to take more time off or anything — I’m just saying to make sure that the time that you do take to set aside for yourself is easily distinguishable as personal time. It is your time. It is your families time. Relax. Take a load off. Stop worrying about those damn anti-wrinkle creams! It will all be taken care of when you return to work.

In the end, are internet marketers workaholics? You can bet your damn ass they are. But then again — at least for the successful ones — that’s why were’ so damn successful!
