Facebook Ads

The most recent thing that occurred for most of us in affiliate marketing were the changes that were made to the way Facebook operates their advertising. After the recent changes a lot of people really flocked to Facebook and the team over at Facebook are very excited to see all the new traffic coming through their site. Apparently Facebook finally figured out how much money they were shutting out by denying almost any campaign that we tried to get through. I know that I was very frustrated by the way Facebook handled their advertising program before. It took several hours for anything to be reviewed, and most of the time your ad would be denied if it didn’t strictly adhere to Facebook’s policy.

Personally I got tired of having all of my ads denied over at Facebook. I was really bored of the technique of submitting your ads again and again until you got someone on the approval team to let your ad in. Thankfully for all of us they changed their policies quite a bit, they finnaly decided to stop warring with affiliates and embrace the money that we are able to bring them. The other side of the team, the advertising team has really been on the hunt lately for affiliates to get under their name for Facebook. A few popular forums that I frequent were hit with a load of Facebook representatives to try to offer help to the affiliates there.

Most of them were banned for spamming everyone in private messages. However I was lucky enough to get in contact with one that is very helpful. His names Matt Hogle, you guys can shoot him an e-mail. He will gladly help out as many affiliates as contact him. I know a lot of you were already contacted by Facebook via spam private messages, but if you want to talk to a pretty stand up guy about it talk to Matt. I know that I am using them a lot more now and for those of you that already are this isn’t news to you. However if your not using Facebook ads right now, you need to jump in the game while it’s still playable.

The new process that they are using allows for us to get a lot more ads in. Since it is so much easier to get your ads approved you don’t have to submit them so many times, and you can work on tweaking your demographics more than just spamming them until they approve your ad. It’s been working very well for me, I’ve been trying a lot of new ideas in facebook. I’ve tried the ones that are done to death as well. From what I’ve seen they both work, you really just need to get your demographic targetting down pat. Facebook has turned into the highest ROI that I am getting as far as PPC goes. It’s a lot kinder than Google is as you can get a lot more targetted hits. My ROI’s been solid across the board on Facebook now that I have been able to test for a few days and get my targets down. The targetting is a lot easier to test than anywhere else and it really provides quicker results, you don’t have to burn through as much to get a profitable campaign going.

    1. Your writing is awful and borderline un-readable.

    2. “Facebook are very excited to see all the new traffic coming through their site.” – Huh? Facebook is sending their traffic to other sites, not getting more traffic.

    3. “It took several hours for anything to be reviewed,” – IT STILL DOES!

A few tips…..learn to write, make your posts more interesting, know what your talking about before you write it. Right now you are just coming off as a big dummy.

    Hope this helps.

Ad Hustler, are you retarded or something? Did you miss your meds or are you just simply illiterate? If you takes some English classes maybe you will learn to read the sentence as a whole as opposed to taking things out of context. The sentence actually reads: After the recent changes a lot of people really flocked to Facebook and the team over at Facebook are very excited to see all the new traffic coming through their site. Since the statement mentions the idea of a team and not a single person “are” is the correct form. So before you judge someones ability to write, question your ability to read!

Facebook hasn’t been as kind to me, but I am still trying, good job on the blog (bet Matt Hogle loves the name toss there). keep on keep’n on,

and to the guy who posted above me, its a blog, not a novel (different writing standard), traffic increase stated is monetary traffic (as opposed to non-commercial traffic), it only takes hours to get approved if you do it passively (e-mail or call facebook to expedite the process)

Well I don’t think it was THAT bad. I’ll reserve judgement until you write areal post. I can tell this one was just a filler.

    Good luck bros.

Facebook is just about a joke. They do not care about the long term sustainability of advertising with them. I’m just about done with facebook and their stupid advertising rules. They are not advertiser friendly at all and not worth my time.
