I’ve been looking into the new Kindle lately and I decided that I could use it to read some of the business related books I’ve been reading. They’re a lot cheaper and easier than normal books. And I’m running out of room on my bookshelf.

On a side note, who here has a Kindle and what do you think about it? It just seems easier than buying books all the time and I like the 3G Wifi and read to me features. I’m not sure why I haven’t bought one yet – mainly because I’m cheap. That’s why I want someone else to buy it! =)

Yeah, I bought one for my wife when they first came out and she loves it. I’m sure the new models are even better.
Only thing is that they are pretty fragile. We got a cracked screen on ours and got it replaced for free by the company even though the 1 year warranty had just expired.
I read today about a class action lawsuit against Amazon for the new model because some metal clips in it’s ‘protective’ case cause cracks which spread and cause failure. So watch out for that.

I would think it would be a bit strange reading a book on a kindle. Sure it is still portable, but wouldn’t your eyes get sore from staring at a screen for so long?
