Blog Comments for One and All

By now, it is pretty well-established that blogging is a great way to drive traffic and bring attention to your affiliate products and services. When you create a blog centered on your specific niche or industry, you have made a place that is perfectly aligned to help you leverage traffic into sales.

Since the search engine spiders absolutely adore blogs, having one that you update frequently with high quality content will bring the spiders over in droves and boost your search engine rankings very easily.

The commenting function that is part and parcel of most blogging platforms and templates is a great way to both bring in new traffic for your blog and then keep that traffic coming back again and again. A blog with a comments section is the perfect way to communicate with people interested in your topic.

When you fill your blog with posts containing informative, quality content, and give people a place to respond, they will do so by commenting back to give you their own opinions on the subject or offer other additional information.

If you keep the conversation going by responding back in kind in the comments, your commenters will return again and again to see what you’ve said and read more of what you write in other posts. This will work to build up their trust in you and establish yourself as an authority, which, in turn, will make them more likely to purchase any of the affiliate products you promote and recommend.

A hopping comments section will also attract new readers, because if your blog looks busy, people will know you have something important to say and stick around to hear it.

You can also bring in new traffic by visiting other blogs that relate to your topic and leaving thoughtful comments there. Participating in comments sections on other blogs gets your backlink out there and also alerts other bloggers to your presence, upping the number of eyeballs that see your site. Just make sure to keep it relevant and on-topic, or you will look like spam, and spam gets ignored.

If you aren’t currently making the most of what blog comments can do for your affiliate marketing campaigns, now is the time ñ you will be both pleased and surprised by the results.
