About

It’s hard to believe what I have been able to achieve recently thanks to affiliate marketing. I’ve always been the type of person that wants to make their own thing; they want to make money their own way. I’ve tried several businesses and most of them have failed. I never gave up though and I finally found what works for me. I’ve only been in this industry for about 6 months and it’s been an amazing journey.

I’ve always been interested in making money without actually having a job. Working for someone else is just never something that interested me, I know a lot of people hate having a boss but I really took it to heart and I don’t ever want to have one again. I want to be the boss, the one in charge of my own destiny, I don’t suck up well to someone else to get what I need done, I would rather have the freedom to do it myself. I’ve had this mindset since I was very young and I’ve kept it the entire way, becoming more stubborn and arrogant the whole way(which is not really a bad thing).

My first attempt at business

As I said I have always been interested in making money, even at a very early age. When I was in fourth grade, I was brand new to our “Intermediate” school, our school system has strange names for its different buildings. After I spent a few weeks in the school I noticed that there was no school newspaper, I had always seen school newspapers in any T.V. show that featured a school setting so I thought that we should have one too. After all, isn’t everything supposed to be like it is on television?

After I decided to make the school a newspaper, the first thing I had to do was get approval from our principal Mr. Booth. He told me that I could write a paper if I could gather a group of students that were interested in doing it, and he had to see the final revision before we started selling it. I was also required to pay the school five cents per paper that we sold to cover the cost of the paper and staples of theirs that I used. I really wasn’t sure who I was going to try to get on board with the newspaper but I thought for sure I could get a few students to jump on board.

After about a week I had a full staff on board, and right now I can’t remember who they all were, I can name a few but not all of them so I am going to try to get in contact with them and I’ll update this page when I know the whole list! Either way though we started work that same weekend and we were able to produce our first paper by that Monday. We sold it every day that entire week trying to get the buzz around it built up. Very few people bought it that first week, but the few that did started to spread the word. A lot of students actually thought it was really good, and that allowed the paper to really escalate.

The paper really took off, and after a few weeks without a name we finally came up with one. We named it ‘The Bulldog Bite’. The name seemed really cool back then, and I suppose it sounds decent now. Either way it will always live on, after I left that school the next group of students took it over and as far as I know it still exists to this day. That paper was really the beginning of what would be a long business journey, even though I’m still young.

Affiliate Marketing

For a long time after I created that school newspaper in fourth grade I was trying to replicate that success. I tried everything on the web, from web design and development to getting scammed by those get rich quick schemes that I never should have fallen for. Oh well though, you live and learn and it’s brought me to the industry that I am in now. I found affiliate marketing when it was already in its prime, unlike most of the major affiliates that you read about. I started the game a bit late but I think that I’ve caught up quite well. The reason I found affiliate marketing was because I wanted something that I could do in college to make some extra money, so that maybe I wouldn’t have so much to pay off on my student loans when I got out.

It turned out that I could be a lot more successful that I had once thought, and I really started to get going. I had a lot of issues in the beginning, but I solved most of those issues by joining PPC-Coach. That was most definitely one of the best moves I made in this industry. After a few weeks there though I decided that I should try to make a forum that was broader, and covered all of the affiliate marketing aspects. That ended up being AffPros. It’s not currently going as well as I had hoped but it is beginning to thrive a little bit. Either way though I started to become successful in affiliate marketing and after a few months decided I needed to really solidify things and make the whole package.

Katemiah Creations Incorporated

That brings me to the present, and to what I am currently trying to do. I incorporated my affiliate marketing efforts as the President/CEO of Katemiah Creations. I also decided to expand upon my affiliate marketing and bring in a staff to allow Katemiah to provide affiliates a place to outsource. Currently as of this posting Katemiah offers graphic design/web development, copywriting and marketing consultation services for affiliates. You can find out more about those at our website. I am hard at work trying to brand myself and Katemiah all at the same time, which pretty much ends our business story as to how I got where I am. Most of you won’t care about the next part, but for those of you that want to know a little more about Jeremiah Cooper, and not my business then you should read on.

About me

I’m serious this time I actually intend on talking about myself and not my glory days of business! This is where most of you should go read up on some of my other affiliate marketing topics if you’re not interested in who I really am! We’ll go back to the basics, as you all know if you made it to this site and are able to comprehend the English language, my name is Jeremiah Cooper. I am currently a 19 year old student of Full Sail University in Orlando Florida.

The most important part of my life right now is my beautiful and amazing girlfriend Katie(I love you baby girl). Unfortunately she’s a year behind me and is still up in Ohio finishing out her last year of high school. For those of you that haven’t figured it out yet Katemiah originated from Katie’s name and mine together..Although I’m still not sure it’s fair that her name came first! Anyways though, she brings me to another topic. I grew up in Ohio, in a city called Green. We were the Green Bulldogs, our school colors were orange and black! That makes sense, am I right? A lot of people found Green pretty boring, I didn’t mind it too much and I have some really close friends that are still in Green that I try to keep in touch with.

I played football for Green for my entire life, which ended up making my career ten years long. I was always on the offensive or defensive line; moving fast just wasn’t ever my thing. Football meant a lot to me growing up and it consumed a lot of my life. I was always a little strange though when it came to that – I was a huge football buff and a computer nerd all at once. I don’t know, I apparently didn’t like being just one or the other. I don’t really want to talk to you about my entire childhood, but I must say it was a good one so no worries there so we’ll fast forward to the high school years.

My freshman year of high school I was pretty much consumed by two things, football and World of Warcraft. After I got a car, I also had to get a job..that job was at Arby’s. More on that in a bit, but really I didn’t do a lot in high school. I coasted thru most of it with a few bumps in the road like most kids do. World of Warcraft was my biggest hobby, and I’m happy to say I don’t play that nearly as much as I used to, in fact I haven’t logged on in weeks now. Although I must say Wrath of the Lich King is pretty awesome. I just don’t have a lot of time for it right now, I would much rather spend any free time I have talking to Katie. My first priority has to be school right now, and then my business..otherwise both my Mom and Katie would kill me.

My mom is the person that I have to thank for everything that I have gotten so far in life. Lately she may not see it as much because I’m not living anywhere near her anymore, and because I talk to Katie a lot as well but I really love her and appreciate everything she’s done for me. She gave me a great life and allowed me to be who I am and get where I wanted to be. I’ll never forget everything that she did for me, and I’ll be making sure to get her that beach house and purple Lexus she always told me she wanted when I got rich.

Arby’s was a treat..my first year or so of working was actually awesome. I worked at an Arby’s that the whole crew was like a family, my mom was the general manager and everyone had fun while we worked there. After she was promoted..things changed a bit and we won’t go there for lack of anything good to say about my time at that store during that time. Regardless as to why, I was transferred out of the store and I moved to a new store. At first I wasn’t really happy about the change, I didn’t really want to work for Arby’s at all anymore because it just wasn’t the same anymore.

Things changed pretty quickly though once I met Katie and that store and got to know her. I fell in love with her, and that brings us to today, where in 19 days we will have been together for 9 months. That also brings me to Full Sail, where I currently reside. I live in a one bedroom apartment right off campus and I pretty much live on campus during the week. We have 40 hours of class during the week most weeks, and it’s a pretty insane schedule. However I do love the school and it was definitely the right choice for me. Full Sail is an accelerated program that will get me out in less than two years with a Bachelor’s degree as opposed to wasting four years in a traditional college that I most likely would have failed out of due to boredom. And here we are, nearing the end of what I have done in life so far. I hope you enjoyed it and if you have any comments or questions feel free. Now it’s time to move onto the introductory post for this blog, so I can recap what this blog is about. Remember to subscribe to my RSS feed and happy earning!
