Too often I hear people limit talk of the major advertising and PPC networks as a whole to usually just Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing and sometimes MSN Ad Center. Come to think of it, we can throw Facebook Ads in there as well, too. These are talked about the most with good reason, no doubt. Each has many strengths and not many weaknesses that help make them the cream of the crop of the PPC network debate. However, what is unfortunate and what I’d like to educate people on is the many, many, many different other networks out there that are available to you. Not only are they available to you, but they can also offer you some cheaper cost per click costs at the sacrifice of some bulk traffic.
In the interests of just giving you what you would need instead of saying something along the lines of, “Go and get Google searching!” which I would usually say and have said in the past, here’s a nice big list of some solid advertising spots on the lovely, vast place that we know as the Internet:
- Miva
- Ask (dot com)
- 7Search
- Adbrite
- Bidvertiser
- Chitika
- Adengage
In addition to the staple mainstays of Google, Yahoo, MSN and Facebook – in conjunction with these – you should have a lot of different places and opportunities to get started in a variety of different places. I’ve left some out and you could perhaps say I did this on purpose. I did it though, so that we can further promote interactivity with the readers – so if you know of a nice advertising network/company out there that I haven’t listed here, feel free to shout them out in the comments as long as you provide a brief blurb as to why you’re including them. We don’t need a bunch of networks shamelessly whoring themselves in the comments – that would just be bad!
But regardless, let’s really make the current list branch out into a true cornucopia list of places to advertise! I have faith in you readers, so don’t let me down!

Judging from your list here.. I guess bidvertiser is the next best option to adsense? Also there is CBProAds that you missed out.
